Commercials

I have to say you can never go wrong with the Budweiser Horses! I loved that commercial and would have to say it was my favorite. Second place would have to be the gecko’s singing and dancing to “Thriller”…that was fun!

WHAT A GAME!!!

Wow! What a great game to watch. I was at the edge of my seat the entire game! Eli Manning played a good game; rough at times, but he really stepped it up when it counted. The New York Giants, the underdogs….started off the season 0 and 2 and ended up the Super Bowl Champs and pulling off the upset. GOOD GAME!!!

Let the Game Begin!

We are only minutes away from kickoff; the University of Phoenix Stadium is packed; adrenalin is high, and the crowd is pumped….but…what is a Super Bowl without great commercials? I can’t wait to see what they have come up with this year. I will be watching closely and sharing my favorite commercial after the game. Stay tuned….

Today is the Day!

Well, the day is finally here. A day for hanging out with friends, tail gating, drinking, eating, and of course watching the big game. People who aren’t able to go to Glendale are preparing the dip, chilling the drinks (or warming them up), and making that one last attempt to vacuum before the group shows up. This is a holiday, so to speak, for sports fans everywhere. Have fun and be safe! Enjoy the Super Bowl.

Scalpers

Scalpers are making a mint on Super Bowl tickets this year. ESPN reports people are paying an average of $4300 per ticket. One gentleman payed $29,385 for a package that included lodging for 3 nights, transportation to and from the game, along with 3 Super Bowl tickets. Wow! You have to read this article. People are paying more for Super Bowl tickets than some people make on a yearly basis. There are some amazing stories.

Kids in Sports

Many children participate in sports early on in their lives. It is important to create memories from their experiences. I would be lost without my camera. Cameras have come a long way and they are fun and easy to use. I have found some great products on Amazon if you are in the market for a new camera and/or accessories that go with it. I love to take lots of pictures of my son’s activities and I create a work of art in his baby book. It’s a lot of fun!

Shopping

I am an avid online shopper; for anything and everything. I have created a store for my visitors; The Sports Stop. It is filled with anything you can think of pertaining to basketball, football, baseball, and golf. You can access my store by clicking on the link above or the one to the right of the page. It is easy and fun. Take a look and see if you can find anything you can’t live without.

The Count Down Continues

Only 1 day, 0 hours, and 38 minutes left until Super Bowl XLII begins. With the Giants being the under dogs many are saying they don’t have a chance. But tomorrow is a new game; both teams start at 0, it’s anyone’s game. I am going for the under dogs…GIANTS ALL THE WAY!!!

Time to Play

I am playing in a city league womens basketball right now. Tonight was our first game…wow, I thought I was in shape. I have discovered that if you are in shape for one sport, that doesn’t mean you are invincable and can play anything. You can run on a tread mill every day, but once you step on the basketball court, oh man! My lungs are burning tonight. I run every day but I don’t sprint. There is a big difference. I feel like I haven’t run in months. On a positive note though, my team won and will play again next week.
